Who is Khutšo Kekana?

In the vibrant tapestry of Zebediela’s rocky streets in the Limpopo Province, Khutšo Kekana was born and bred, a self-aware and dynamic individual from the outset. From her childhood, Khutšo embodied independence, curiosity, and a profound love for life — a genuine dreamer who envisioned and crafted her destiny relentlessly.

Ms Khutšo Kekana is a bold and purpose-driven pioneer, who derives her worth from her faith in God. She is a Speaker, a former beauty queen, an internationally certified Children’s Wisdom Coach and a Marketing and Brand expert with over 12 years of work experience within the Higher Education sector.

"I guide high school learners through their career choices"

Her purpose pursuit resumed at the age of 18, when she gave her life to Christ in a campus fellowship ministry. This led her to gradually discover her passion for teaching
and calling as a teacher through being a Sunday School teacher at her church. Later finding fulfillment in guiding high school learners through their career choices, and earning a decent living out of it. A genuine embodiment of the scripture: Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

"Leaving a legacy of positive impact and inspiration"

Khutšo’s professional work experience spans from student recruitment to digital marketing, corporate events and stakeholder relations, all intricately intertwined with her dedication to student liaison. This showcases her versatile skills and her unwavering commitment to empowering children and youth as they navigate their career paths and embark on their purpose journeys.

Other notable achievements extend beyond the academic realm, including being the 1st Runner-up Miss Easy Waves 2007, an Easy Waves Natural Hair model from 2007-2009, Miss Soweto 2008, and Mrs. Commonwealth Ambassador 2017. Urban Zulu Fashion Show Runway Training in 2017, as well as her role in planning, curating, and hosting various beauty pageants and industry events throughout her career. Driven by a commitment to purposeful living she is dedicated to aiding and empowering God’s masterpieces (children and youth) to discover and thrive in their God-ordained purposes as cited in Ephesians 2:10.

Khutšo Kekana’s vision transcends personal success; it is a commitment to living out her God-ordained purpose and inspiring others along the way. Her ethos revolves around the idea of lifting others as she rises, a true purpose-chaser dedicated to creating a community where education not only opens doors but also empowers individuals to confidently stride through them.
